  • A further grant for our feeding programme

    We are delighted to receive the second tranche of our £4000 grant from the Marr-Munning Trust.  This £2000 is significant not only in terms of providing a term’s worth of porridge for 1500 children, but frees up other funds to continue the vital development of the school farm and related initiatives.

    Our 10th Anniversary Grand Draw had 22 excellent prizes and produced a profit of £1300 for the Project.  Longterm supporter Lynda Dolwin was the lucky winner of the beautiful African quilt, (see it in full in the second photo here) created and sewn for the Kasiisi Project by two Connecticut quilters, Angelina Deluca and Laura McCarrick.
