Howgills Friends Meeting House, Letchworth, Herts. The very attractive

The
concert, performed to a capacity audience, helped raise over £800. This
excellent figure was helped by the kind sponsorship of Selex Integrated
Systems of Welwyn Garden City.

In September, James Ream, Chairman of the Biggleswade Young Farmers
presented the Director with a cheque for £500, raised by
the young farmers over the year.

The children of Cambridge International Prep School set off on their sponsored cycle ride in the summer of 2009.

In June 2009, students
from the YMCA Skills Academy in Hayes, West London, organised and held
a jumble sale, raising nearly £180, a terrific achievement by these
youngsters who showed great commitment in order to complete the task
they set themselves. The appreciation of the trustees was expressed in
individual Certificates being handed to them by the Project Director at
their Presentation Ceremony on 25th June.

February 2009, Northolt Methodist Church held a service dedicated to
the Kasiisi Porridge Project, marking the start of a year of
fundraising for the project. Here the Rev. Kip Bennett explores the
