  • Kasiisi Project Netball cup

    In November, the Kigarama girls won the Kasiisi Project Netball cup.   A real feather in their cap! Very well done to them, and also to Yvonne Pemberton, our teacher volunteer from Bedfordshire, UK, who coached them so successfully earlier this year.

  • Success!

    Daphine competed, with her team in Kampala. Kasiiisi Primary School competing against 19 other schools nationwide, reached the final 8 in the Uganda National Spelling Bee competition and travelled to Kampala with their parents and Project personnel, for an amazing experience.

  • Spelling Bee Competition – a first for Kasiisi Primary School

    Regional Spelling Bee competitions were held in Fort Portal in October. 20 school teams competed of which 13 were Kasiisi Project/Kibale Forest Schools Program schools, entering for the first time. Peace Corps volunteer Jimmy o’Keefe helps coach the students.
