• Bottle bricks for school’s biodigester

Kasiisi children enthusiastically produce hundreds of bricks made from water bottles, collected from wherever possible, for the school’s new biodigester. This is an engineering feat, led by Ugandan Engineer Vianney, helped by cadets from West Point Academy, USA, designed to convert latrine waste into cooking gas – for porridge.  The soil-filled bottles will make a wall as part of the structure, which is now nearing completion.  We can’t wait!
